Bike Run & Jam Session

Dear Friend,

I am writing to you today to ask for your help with a fundraiser to be held on Sunday May 18th, 2008.

This most Special Day is to help some very important people and two important organizations.

Please allow me to introduce them;

:Matthew Sundstrom:

Matthew my son is an 11 yr old boy who suffers from Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD). Sadly this disease is both progressive and terminal. Matthews older brother Mitchell died from this disease on March 9th 2000. He was only 11 years old. Matthew and Mitchells mother Paula is also affected by this disease as well, though not terminally. It is to say the least, a very difficult situation my family finds itself in.

:A Wish Come True:

A Wish come True is a local wish granting organization that grants wishes to children from 3 to 18 who find themselves battling life threatening illnesses.  They are not affiliated with any national organization, so all the funds raised benefit local children. For over 25 years A Wish Come True has worked to make a difference in the lives of children who face challenges that hopefully none of us will ever have to face. They create “magic” for these very special wish children. This magic is created solely through the generosity of their donors.

:United Leukodystrophy Foundation:

This is a national organization in DeKalb Illinois, that supports research and study for a cure for the Leukodystrophies. They are also a support group for people like my wife Paula and I who have lost children to this horrible disease. They accomplish this thru medical education, 2nd opinion, referrals, and support and equipment exchange programs.

In asking for your help in sponsoring this event, there are 3 levels to choose from, they are:

Gold Sponsorship@$500.00 10 tickets to the event, commemorative shirts, 10 raffle tickets.

Silver Sponsorship@$250.00 5 tickets to the event, commemorative shirts, 5 raffle tickets.

Bronze Sponsorship@100.00 2tickets to the event, 2 raffle tickets.

In addition all sponsors of the event will have their names used in promotional and advertising materials. If sponsorship is not an option, then perhaps donating something for our raffles?
