SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES
The ULF is dedicated to ensuring that families who want to join us at the Family Conference are able to – regardless of financial hardship. The deadline to apply is February 14, 2025. Applicants will be notified of their application status the week of March 2, 2025. If you are applying for a scholarship, please wait to register until you have been notified of your application status. Instructions for scholarship recipients will be provided at that time. Please note that if awarded a scholarship, you will still be responsible for the registration fees, $25 per adult and $15 per child.

Scholarship applications submitted after the February 14 deadline will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and placed on our waitlist. We will do our best to accommodate as resources allow.

What the scholarship includes:
One hotel room for three nights (check in of 6/27, check out of 6/29) and meals.

Eligibility:
   • All leukodystrophy types welcome to apply
   • Any stage of diagnosis (newly diagnosed, long-time affected person, etc.)
   • Domestic or International, global applications accepted (International applicants please note obtaining a VISA is your responsibility, as ULF is unable to provide support for the VISA application process.)
   • Statement of financial need required

Preference Given To:
   • Newly diagnosed families who have not previously attended the Conference
   • Families who will attend the Conference for the first time
   • Families who have not received scholarship funds to attend the Conference previously
