Rise for Alexanders: April 14, 2024
Thank you all so much for registering and donating to the cause, Rise For Alexander’s!
Alexander’s Disease is a form of leukodystrophy, which are diseases that affect the white matter in the brain. There is currently no cure; however, scientists are working hard to find one. The money raised during this fun run will directly support research in hopes to benefit the patients and families affected by this disease.
The fun run promises to be a great time to spread awareness, raise money, and enjoy time with the community. At the run, children will receive superhero capes inspired by the slogan, “Be Your Own Hero”, featured on our flier. Every participant will also receive bracelets after every lap completed. Throughout the run there will be fun obstacles to complete.
